About the Bristly Hog
The Bristly Hog is an independent, fully licensed coffee house and restaurant serving a wide variety of specialty teas and coffees sourced from around the world provided by local roasters Rinaldo’s and Pennington’s.
Occupying a grade 2 listed building from 1575, the Bristly Hog is named after a 19th century brush factory which used the site. The factory owners added the distinctive “bristly hog” above the door and he’s still there looking out for our customers now. You can find our dog friendly establishment on Stricklandgate in Kendal not far from the multi-story car park where you’ll find ample parking.
You’ll love our ambient, calming environment where you can choose from our daily breakfast offers and afternoon specials. All our produce is locally sourced, excellent quality and our homemade cakes, pastries and fresh innovative food are all made in-house.
We are open every day and offer all day breakfasts, main meals, snacks and afternoon teas for meat eaters, vegetarians and gluten free diners.
See you soon!
